The fact is that it's only the last few years that Norwich's attendances have overtaken us. Historically we have always had higher attendances and so it will be again.

I was'nt crowing about attendances, although I did mention it. I was saying what a **** game it was, football was dire. Team of old has beens against an academy side. Could'nt get much worse. Score flattered you completely, Was like watching 3rd division Mexican football without the murders !!!!!

Well my good fellow, i would like to congratulate you on an articulate reply, devoid of expletives, it makes a refreshing change but one would have to disagree with your arguement. I think ''beasts'' reference was to your half-empty stadium (literally) and a complete lack of support for your team. (albeit ''you'' live a fair distance from you team) He suggested that opinion of some on these boards is only a repitition of something they have heard on TV.
I am fortunate to be able to watch my team every week, even though I live 6000 miles away. The game i witnessed tonight was a far cry from the game I watched on Saturday against Bolton. i know Norwich are not one of the best footballing sides in the PL (yet) but there is a gulf in class between our two teams already, even with all our ex non-league players. This will continue to grow!!!!

What are you talking about! Firstly, Norwich fans coming on the Ipswich board for a bit of banter is great, but you who have just come on here to be plain abusive can go back under the rock you came from.
Has it not occurred to you that some Ipswich fans don't live in Ipswich (due to work or other reasons) and therefore cannot go to every game. I try to go to games when I came but am usually limited to the London away games and the occasional home game. Personally I don't see any shame in that, I am just as passionate as the next Ipswich fan and my opinion is just as valid.

3) if you live 2 hours from Ipswich there is NO excuse for not being a season ticket holder. Plenty of Norwich ST I have come across live far and wide and make huge sacrifices for the club which makes me feel so great.
