Factor in:- - they've only got 1 point away all season - under Mark O'Silver we've won every home game - Burnley have over-achieved against us in recent seasons Over to you Recaro boys.
Cocaine kills more people due to the growing and transportation. But again, that's because it's illegal.
MDMA has been proven to have had a dramatic effect on the levels of football violence in this country. FACT. My wife did the homework on this one. She wrote a masters dissertation on the subject.
Once again, you're just spouting uninformed nonsense. Last year over 100,000 people in the UK died as a direct result of smoking, and over 10,000 as a direct result of alcohol abuse. Just under 2,500 died as a direct result of drug-taking. Another example of the fact that you need to mug up.
Can't argue with the stats. I cede to you on that front. If hard drugs were legal, you'd see that number rise, though. I still can't see a justification for taking drugs, "it makes you feel good" isn't a good enough reason for me. A bacon sandwich makes me feel good. So does watching City win. Incidentally, are you saying mug up in the hope that it catches on? Like a catchphrase?
Your argument carries more weight without the ad hominem. Honestly, resist the urge to attack the person and concentrate on the facts. Especially in this case, because you're right.
You can't state that with any certainty. There are plenty of eminently well-qualified and highly-qualified people who believe that, actually, the reverse would be the case. But smoking also makes you feel good, yet - beyond that reason - there's no sensible argument for it. You're operating real double standards here.
I appreciate your advice Des, but this is the Not606 forum, not the Oxford University Debating Society
Is it right that most drug related deaths are not due to the drug itself, but the **** they cut it with to make it go further? I read that's why wealthy drug users don't suffer the same way, as they can afford a purer product.
It's not that straightforward. It all depends on how much someone takes, and how their tolerance has been developed. Too much of it, pure or otherwise, can kill you. 30mg has been known to prove fatal.
