town entertain an in form cobblers on Saturday, the highest scorers in the league with 51 goals but 42 against. they have taken 13 points from last 18, losing to Hartlepool, drawing with stags and beating York , Morecambe, Accrington 5-1 away and county at home 3-0.

they have 1 very useful striker Richards 17, d'ath 8 and Toney 8. on Tuesday burton are away at Accrington, and next Saturday games affecting promo are brewers v county, luton v acc, argyle v bury southend v Carlisle and wobblers v stevo

hopefully Mickey demetriou will be fully recovered though there is some doubt if Barnett is fully fit.

Bet AJ 499 goes 2-0 to shrews with a gate of 5009 but would love to see more.

hoping to make a lightening 48 hour trip to watch town beat Exeter on april 11th, taking in 3 fishes, prince of wales, railway inn at yorton and some great shrewsbury town fc hospitality.

just bought a lovely stfc scarf " pride of Shropshire" recommend them at £8 lots of loggerheads items arriving in club shop. FS AJ Devon.

As I teach in Northamptonshire several of my pupils are Cobblers fans (and a couple are going to the game) so the banter has already begun! I am hoping for a positive results to ensure local bragging rights but we should at least see some goals as they are going all out for wins to try and get in the play-offs.

ackers 1 up on burton. fully expect cobblers game to be tight and result could go either way. both cobbs and town have 13 points from 18.

Northampton were useful against Exeter with a few big, physical players. They liked the wide open spaces and killer passes so we will need to be fit and alert!
All that being said Exeter were awful that day!!

They look to be a threat up front and tend to start matches well but sometimes fade - as we are probably the other way around it could make for a very exciting game. That was a terrible challenge by Richards but surely it is time to forgive and forget and just concentrate on the fact he is the leading scorer in this league and will be a challenge for our new look defence tomorrow.
