Sorry guys if this is causing some confrontation , it was not intended. I was simply asking with the current set up aged and probably won't be getting another contract due to this fact , to maintain stability that the club consistently keep referring to , do we need to bring in someone that has the potential to take over , when Harry decides to retire etc etc. Names being given such as Paul Clement would be an ideal scenario for this to happen. Once again sorry to all for any difficulties with this thought that I posted.
I'm not sure Clement is as out there as it sounds. From what I understand, he's an R's supporter, and whilst bringing him in now as an understudy might be a challenge, having him take over from Harry might be a possibility. And surely, a manager who loves the club, has learned his trade from the very best, and has contacts at one of the biggest clubs in the world (and Real Madrid, as well!)... Even Flyer couldn't complain about that! (Only teasing, Flyer.)
Precisely, make it crystal clear - a year working with H then its all yours. Much less pressure than going straight in as number 1. Having seen Hoddle on telly a bit recently, I've gone right off him. He's totally incoherent. I'd rather have sweaty Adrian Chiles.
Are you saying he didn't do a good job with the Rams, especially considering where they were when he joined them?
Nothing is going to change. We are stuck with what we have for now. I can't see anyone being brought in to do an manager-in-waiting job. If and when Harry goes then we will bring in a new bloke with his own team or a young, new bloke who will scout around and build his own (coaching) team.
