Very odd decision, he could've gone to QPR (Prem), West Ham (expected to do well in the championship) or Leicester (tipped to win the championship)...and he goes to Brighton who have just been promoted from the League he was in last season and thus are in the same position as Peterborough...odd!
He wanted somewhere with a beach, preferably a sandy one.
He searched and searched for weeks and weeks but to no avail.
Somehow his mind kept returning to those pebbles;just coarser sand, he finally convinced himself.

Must be the 'alternative' nightlife, thought he looked a bit suspect with them highlights!
If you were a professional, trying to get to the top of your field, what do you do???
Put yourself forward for the hardest road, the road that would test you the most?
Or settle back in to a comfortable life, picking up a wage, knowing that you've probably gone as far as you can?
I think he has chose the second option, myself. There would seem to be a lack of belief in his own abilities, if he's choosing Championship over Premier League.
Still, at least we didn't waste our precious transfer budget on that load of old pony!!!

i find this rather strange , he said he wanted to better himself well i cant see where hes done that, may as well stayed at peterbrough
No mention at all on the fee they paid - but I didn't really want him anyway. All he's ever done is score in the 3rd tier - no Premiership experience at all. And at 27, it's now unlikely he'll ever get any.

Uncle Neil( yes! You can call me uncle!) did put in a lovely sandpit near the latrines to give him that special seaside smell - more like a smelly old harbour, thought Craig - with parasols and loungers and brightly coloured buckets and spades, but although he had a nice time, it just didn't feel right.
I can't say that i'm disappointed that we have missed out on CMS, I think the most upsetting thing fro me is that there still appears to be a complete lack of movement on any front, let alone signing players.

I think to be honest it was probablythe chance to work with Gus Poyet. Brighton have got a shiny new stadium, and a good manager - and he has a chance to be a big fish in a smallish pond, no disrespect meant to Brighton as CMS obviously saw them as a better chance in his career than WHU, Leicester or QPR.
Well, Rangers fans we will be being paying Premier league prices to watch a Championship side. Barry Fry was quite forthright onTalksport. He said that he made a deal with Neil Warnock about six weeks ago which was blocked by B & E. He stated further that it was a disgrace the way QPR are being run at present and that "poor old Neil can't even sign players on a free transfer". In Adrian Durham's opinion, after all he has done for Rangers, Neil should sit tight and not walk on Rangers and wait for them to sack and get hie rightful compensation. I for one, would not blame him if he did just that.
