Just noticed he's got his own iphone app Think we can relax now, surely there's no way this can go wrong.

Simon Peach: "Would suggest Clyne is on the way to Geneva to dot i's and cross t's at #SaintsFC. Announcement then likely tonight or tomorrow, as I said."
Am I the only one that's unimpressed by this signing? We've snapped up players from Burnley and Palace when we're a Premier League team now? Feels like we're aiming a bit low down the ladder. Davis is a good signing from the level he's played. Would rather sign a relegated player or snap up one from an existing Prem team. I'm sure they're good players but not sure they'll add much to the squad we already have.
Yep you're the only one All you're really saying is you don't know much about Championship football. If you'd honestly rather have Kevin Foley than Nathan Clyne, or Kevin Davies than Jay Rodriguez, then I'm very grateful you're not our manager.
Nigel wants certain types of player that can be transformed into a Saints player. He is aiming for a tapestry not a patchwork quilt.
Playing for a weaker team doesn't mean they're a weaker player. The players we have signed have all got what it takes to play at the highest level in the PL. Jay Rod and Clyne potentially could get in the England team. Don't worry, I believe and I am sure other Saints fans feel we are selecting the right players to get this club moving forwards.
Erm, yes you probably are. We're taking young players who are the stars of their current side and putting them in our own. Players can't win a team promotion on their own. Clyne and Rodriguez were both academy products of the clubs we bought them from so are hardly Football League journeymen. I'd rather sign a top young talent outside the PL from a Championship side than a reserve who is like 25+ from a current PL side.
Seeing as Clyne and Rodriguez were both in the Team of the Year, we've signed, you could easily say, the two best players in their position outside the Premiership. I'd much rather take that than someone who miserably flopped out of the Prem.
While we managed to capatalise on his lack of height at the away game in April he has bags of potential and I believe we can really utilise his ability. Happy days indeed.
I'm saying everyone is getting excited about a player from a team that finished mid-table in the Championship last year. I wouldn't rather Foley or Davies come here but maybe look outside of the Championship and Scottish leagues.
We're getting excited about an England under-21 player who was named the best right-back in the championship last season. He's a great, great prospect and a bargain at that.
Swindon. There is still lots of time to sign more experience if Nigel thinks we need it! I'm not worried. Think all three signings fit our style. All good for me!
Flawed argument, both rodriguez and clyne are young players included in the team of the year, both did well while surrounded with worse players. We can't expect to just sign quality established premier league players after just getting promoted . Basically you are wrong.
He as an individual was voted the best right-back in the Championship. He's 21. Either you really have no footballing knowledge, or you're on a wind-up/
