National Express and Megabus are options, but advance ticket purchase would make it difficult to just turn up and hope for a seat.
An alternative would be coach to Reading Station and train to Swansea.
A lot would depend on what time of day/night you arrive at Heathrow.
    Good luck, and safe journey.

plan is to arrive Heathrow 0715 Sat morning, fly out 1230 Mon afternoon, all depends on getting a ticket and as Lib said, no point going and then hanging around outside the Liberty lol. I must add, my wife has been very supportive of my somewhat rushed plan as we were/are going to see the Fawlty Towers show and dinner on Fri evening, fingers and everything else crossed

Bring one of these, musty, and you could do a spot of busking at The Quadrant Bus Station in Swansea. Just about pay for your trip. <laugh>

I'm flattered that you seek my opinion on this subject.
Have you asked anyone else for theirs ?
Anyway, you've asked, so I will respond, although it's not really a straightforward question.

    Re 2016 - 17 season.

Well, the usual suspects have captured slots 1 - 6.
No repeat of the underdog success the previous season.
The Swans' have been very fortunate that this season has seen so many poor/average teams taking part.
    Too much cheating by players.
    Too much poor officiating.
    Too much hysteria.
    Too much dirty money.

I could go on, but you get my drift.

I don't like the P.L. Never have, never will. Apart, that is, from the Michael Laudrup era. He brought style and class to Swansea City. Sadly the powers that be saw fit to end his tenure rather too prematurely, for my liking anyway.
I miss Laudrup's integrity, decency, and honesty.

The P.L. is, a) overrated, b) overhyped, c) generally lacking in quality, d) too expensive, with the football public being taken for granted and milked.

There are, however, considerable benefits to the City and the surrounding region. arising out of the local football team performing in the inappropriately named Premier League.
Worldwide exposure is a huge plus with businesses benefiting immensely.
Even the City of Cardiff benefits, it being so close.
Local businesses have breathed a huge sigh of relief now that The Swans' have avoided relegation.
So overall, Premier League football is a MUST for the City.

In conclusion, I want the Swans' to thrive, but I wish it didn't have to do so in the dreadful environment of the Premier League, which is merely a pretentious title for the First Division.
