You are being too kind.Really hope spurs have a crap season.
If they are bottom half at Christmas Pochettino will be out the door. If they don't get out of the group stage of Europa he'll be gone. If they don't qualify for Europe next season that will also be the end for him.Really hope spurs have a crap season.
I think that is quite a realistic article....in fact he could almost be writing about us regarding being seen as a stepping stone club, not able to attract truly top players because of wages and being outside top 4. He is far more realistic than most of their fans who still see them as a powerhouse. I don't know enough about Spurs to know if they are any good at bringing youngsters through (never heard it mentioned though), but I do know it's getting harder for youngsters to break through at Saints at the moment. This would have been hidden if we still had the ex-Academy players that have been wrenched from our loving bosom by top sides. We've hit a bit of a hiatus, but I hope we will have more that are good enough in the future.Spuds might have to go top of my list again, this article rubbed me right up the wrong way:

"We not only develop, but we give a chance to youth in a way no other top club does in the Premier League."

It's very true though because when other "top clubs" give youth a chance, it's not normally because they have no other choice.Spuds might have to go top of my list again, this article rubbed me right up the wrong way:

And also Chelsea and Manchester United as they have too many plastics following them and finish bottom of their CL groups. If people in the Southampton and Portsmouth areas prefer Chelsea or Manchester over our two Hampshire clubs they should go and live there.
