Same thing happened to us yesterday...surrounded by quite a few Blunts in 229...some were absolutely hammered and words/gestures to take it outside to the concourse were exchanged even before kick off!?! One Blunt tried to climb over the chair behind him to celebrate/goad my father in law but fell over it instead (quite funny). Most fans were happy enough to watch the game and didn't mind the mixed allocations.
For those of you wanting Club Wembley tickets, they've all disappeared this morning. I'm trying to find out what's happened, there were 48 pairs and around 70 single seats yesterday but this morning they're showing just a single seat available in each end(Silver and Gold are still available, but regular Club seats are no longer showing). I'm assuming that a ticket agency are now selling them and I'm hoping I can still get some back, but I'll update you when I hear from Wembley.
I'm banking on getting one from work after watching the semi there. Call me a Corporate **** but as much San Miguel as I could drink for 6 hours, ****loads of food and literally amazing females ahoy from the moment you walk through the doors. It's defo the way to watch football.
There's an automated message on the site now saying ticket re-sale is currently unavailable due to essential maintenance, so it's probably nothing.
48 pairs and 70 single seats? I'm genuinely shocked, I'd have thought Arsenal fans would have snapped up the bloody lot by now, rich bastards. Maybe they don't know about it, doubtful, but I bet they have huge demand for this game and at the prices they're used to paying it's hardly a fortune for them.
There's the odd silver seat at £539.35, but most are £711.85 and the Gold seats go up to £953.35. I still expect ordinary Club seats to be available at £435.35, but the site's down at the moment, so I can't check anything.
Some bad news. It seems that a load of Club Wembley members, who are Arsenal fans, have bought every single regular Club ticket this morning. As things currently stand, there are no Club seats available, just Silver seats at £711.85 and Gold seats at £895.85 or £953.35. There are several large companies who own seats, who are being asked if they are definitely using theirs and if they're not, to please put them up for re-sale(Club Wembley are really annoyed that there were so many empty seats at the semi-final, that were not offered for re-sale) and they've asked me for details of exactly how many Club seats I want, so they can try and sort it. The PM system on here is too small to handle all the messages and I need a definite confirmation of exactly what tickets are required, so I can see if I can manage to sort it so can you please reconfirm what you definitely want(and it needs to be definite, if they can sort them I'll need the cash immediately), to [email protected]
I was in Club Wembley for the play off final and had a great day. Turned out we was guests of EON who, bless their hearts, was City fans for the day when they knew where we was from. I was doing a job in London at the time and so i'm told, I was still in the Hotel bar at 3am. Apparently I went down for breakfast and afterwards someone made sure I made it to my bed before I made more of a twat of meself. I lost 2 days pay that weekend, was it worth it? Oh frigging yea!
You're a bright fella OLM. You know who I am and what I have done for you. I was always going to call the marker in. 12 tickets. Booby Moore seats. No charge. Or else.
I got two Club Wembley seats first thing Monday morning for 565 quid each for me and my son through the authorized CW Travel agency Abbey Travel....includes Saturday night room at President Hotel on Russell Square. Seats are in 212/213 bloc second tier at the east end (Hull supporters). We were told the seats were going fast and prices rising rapidly. Doubt if there are any left through that source now.
