Oh boy, the replies are now full of the usual gymnastics from the Lunatic Fringe, even with the actual figures of the lockdown hit right in front of them
That can't top what Munse said to us, legitimately had a jaw ache for a solid 5 mins from laughing... "So it's 2 billion then" ****ing hell .
Exec summaries of THFC : 1. annual accounts https://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/me...sults-year-end-30-june-2021-5-year-review.pdf 2. 5 year rolling window https://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/me...sults-year-end-30-june-2021-5-year-review.pdf I have to say, given both the Corona chaos + on-pitch performances (PL and UEFA) , to only have had an annual drop in revenues of 40m odd is great (could be stunning/incredible - once we have the figures for all of the PL clubs that season) . The effective zero sum swapping of match day revenues with that of broadcast media is interesting. Whatever the increases in their CAPEX/OPEX costs were last year, the corresponding surge in subscription + pay per view monies at worst made it a "zero sum game" for the broadcasters.
Tucked away at the back end of the back end of the accounts is confirmation of the sale of The Goods Yard to ........ENIC. Surprise, surprise! The sale value was less than I've seen it valued at previously and I think less than what the club paid for it. Given the existing planning permission to build about 800 homes, plus shops, etc., I'm presuming that there's been some previous borrowing against the value of the site. Provided that full value has been paid, it's better to have ENIC acting in their own name and interests, rather than having the football club's money and reputation tied up in their property development projects. The recently declined amendment to the planning permission for The Goods Yard, was still in the name of THFC. I'm hoping that will now be dropped for any appeal, as the club can do without ongoing issues with the council from any of this.
Rumour doing the rounds that we've been hit with a covid outbreak. Ivan Toney infecting the squad, presumably. Explains this post: Currently just ****bags talking about it though, so far from confirmed.
Morecambe at home in the FA Cup, could’ve been a lot, lot worse. Millwall got drawn after Morecambe, so close to a London derby!
Ally Gold’s confirmed the Twitter rumours from an “ITK” of a covid outbreak at the club…Not read Gold’s full article but the rumours on Twitter were 6 players and 2 staff. **** sake.
Chatted with some of the Burnley fans on the train to the match about how well Dyche was doing. Not sure how they felt after that utter mauling and that goal, though.
If I had posted GET WELL SOON before Conte arrived that would have had a whole different meaning to what it means now
