See above quotes. More a case of the majority of 18000 season ticket holders don't agree with a large pricehike. "Also highlighted in the same article was the notion of increasing season card prices for next year. The 1,600 strong ‘City Till We Die’ campaigners have objected to the club’s application in their 21-page report to the FA, suggesting an alternative commercial strategy, which may include an increase to season card prices. This sentiment is not echoed by all 18,000 season card holders." I think that would be a pretty good assessment.
============ Under 2000 CTWD members......they are indeed a minority In my opinion the. Majority aren't bothered either way regarding the name change. After all its just £2 to join CTWD..
Happy, chum - you are the embarrassment. Not CTWD, who have the best interest of Hull City at heart; who have the best interest in its proud history. You and the turd you worship are pretty damned embarrassing.
Please can you explain to me then why when requested that a poll was carried out of all season ticket holders, it was refused?
In its full context I'd say it reads as all 18000 season ticket holders do not hold the same sentiment as CTWD. "Also highlighted in the same article was the notion of increasing season card prices for next year. If so, why did Allam seem so against a vote for all ticket holders? I mean, if it was really such a minority, surely he'd be proved right?
Do you really believe that all 18000 season ticket holders want an increase? Do you really want a poll for that?
Can you point to where in CTWD's statement yesterday they were in favour of a 50% hike in season tickets?
The F A will say 'yes' to it now. The club gets the big sponsorship deals. People who disagree don't attend the games anymore. It's simple !
Anybody that was at the Crystal Palace game will know that the majority of the people in the stadium that day opposed the name change, and until Allam allows a poll (which he won't because he knows he'll lose) I will fervently believe that is the case.
Well, it's blindingly obvious he is referring to a vote for the name change, you tool. Trying to avoid the question only make you look worse.
Have you read what CTWD have sent to the FA? If you have please direct me to the part it says we should increase the price up 50%.
Despite the CTWD campaign being pro Allam, how long before an Allam out chant belts around the KC? Is it likely to happen - what's the general mood around Hull about all of this
Probably, after the FA's final decision on the matter, and if he doesn't get what he wants. That's if he hasn't done one like he said he would.
It won't. A club is not authorised to make a change as fundamental as the name simply to appease a potential sponsor. Don't you think that sounds like a really poisonous thing to happen? There has to be standards. The Hallams have admitted in this statement that a name change is at the behest of a lucrative deal with a potential sponsor, so that's it dead in the water. And to think that Dr Hallam stated furiously that no one tells him how to run his business - except a Tiger branded conglomerate who can dictate that he changes the name of his business immediately, against the wishes of his core customers.
