It was their intention and, as they have said, having had the feedback (they can't have been expecting, or why release it) they are now reviewing it. The initial threat was made, folk whinged, moaned, complained, told them to think again. You're wrong to criticise anyone other than the club for releasing the insult to the clubs supporters. Agreed. I expect the tweaks to be minimal at best. The chances of them actually taking on board what the fans have said is slim to none.

Yeah, I'm not reading the other pages or trawling through the 60 pages on the other thread but I read that Ehab said teenagers who sit alone will lose out under the new membership scheme. Can't find anymore information on that from the club regarding specifics. Is that up for review?

Still probably the easiest way to get guaranteed tickets to all the games, although that depends on the length of the trip. I was quite fortunate to get so much time over there at probably the best stretch of our PL tenure. Whether the "details" of this new scheme were leaked or not, it doesn't appear any feedback, if it was even solicited, was taken on board given the publication on the website and the announcement that "packages" would be released this week. It seems to me the expectation of the ownership was "We have a captive audience here, it should fly easily". Isn't that arse-backward from a "marketing" and PR point of view ? Indeed, OLM is doing his best to clarify his understanding of what has been published and being discussed outside this board, and giving his feedback of input from here and elsewhere. It's admirable. Many on here will appreciate his efforts. Highly unlikely any perceived abuse is intentional - one of those cases of the messenger being shot. Once bitten, twice shy based on previous actions of the owners I'd say. There is anger out there. Yet again. Collateral damage seems to be part of most, if not all, of the intended strategies since the change in ownership. Many are affected negatively. Highly likely "tweaking" will still leave a bitter taste for many. Football is a heartless business these days.
Making statements about your own personal altruistic gestures does not compensate for what appears to be a very weak understanding of the issues facing many supporters with the introduction of the new scheme. Perhaps you need to brush up on your presentation skills as they may well be being misinterpreted. Hence the flak. Unless of course you like flak ?
