Well from one quick google search I've found Chelsea paid £13.3m to Porto for Villas-Boas and that was back in 2011. There's a lot more money involved in the game since then and FA have have had their fair share of the pie. I would have opened negotiations at 40 million but would accept 20-25m.
We'd get laughed at if we quoted those figures mate. Had Pep been on a fresh 5 year deal I doubt city would have paid that to Bayern and this is Sam Allardyce going to manage the National team.
