Max - that is exactly the sort of thing we need and doing it that way so we can see what is and is not obscured is good. Has my vote as the best yet

Pictures taken a while back are generally worse quality than more recent ones. So the image I used to get GT from (being over 10 years old) was a low resolution and I didn't want to ruin the quality too much by enlarging it! Also, he was quite small in the picture. Anyway, time for me to get an avatar...
I'm pretty useless with photoshop and stuff... I did try and photoshop my boss (a huge Man City fan), by putting his head on a Man Utd player, ready to post on his FB wall after the Semi. Let's just say the end result wasn't great but fortunately it wasn't needed - not that he hasn't stopped going on about the result ever since!! Max's work is exactly the sort of thing I would have liked to have done - maybe with a couple of players, but then that would probably get a little cluttered!
Max - it was not an important thing - just noticed that he was featured smaller but to be honest I dont think anyone viewing the background is going to care about that I think this image is going to be as close as we can get to a suitable background - it contains all the essential elements

Just a thought Max - the extreme left hand side looks a bit bare, would it be worth running the 'Watford' from top to bottom in larger font & fill the space underneath 'new posts' with a large 'FC'? Says he without a clue how to do any of it
The big problem is with Watford, and Sunderland alike, getting big HD pics of players that are still at the club, is bloody hard work just finding them, i have been looking for the past 30 minutes and cant find one. a render would be best as they are already cut out, but i can cut them out if need be (just takes a lot longer). If you are going to keep that one then fine by me, but i wouldnt mind having another go if anyone can find me good pictures of players from now, and as i dont support watford or even followed them ever, i have no idea who is your players (and who may be leaving this summer).

Sorry about the confusion earlier, I was just trying to throw a little light relief in and it all went a bit pear-shaped! Sorry. I like that ak, but I would like to see some faces. I like Max's one because it includes our heroes. Vicarage Road is of course hugely important, but mainly (to me anyway) because of all the human connections (SEJ, SGT, Sir Luther, let alone family - my grandfather, Dad, Mum, sisters, uncles, godfathers, cousins, nieces, sons). But it's a hell of a picture . I think BB makes a good point about the side. Again, poysonlee, I would like to see a range of heroes there too. Smudger, Holton, Gibbs - all the usual suspects. Thanks Steve for all your attentions too .
Not your fault SLB - if someone wants to deliberately misinterpret a joke you cant stop them He has one of his campaigns going and it seems I am the target. I'm a big boy I will live through it Agree - although I can see some hot debate on whose faces get in / don't. I would include only players from the club's "legends" but am horribly afraid one or two out there might want Doyley - know anyone like that SLB
