Definitely, SS should be there. I've put DG in because he will be fondly remembered for his scoring in consecutive games knack.

I would want Lloyd in there, too. Maybe a patchwork of heroes would be good. Andy Rankin, Dennis Uphill, Steve Sims, Tommy Mooney, Steve Terry, Robert Page, Dennis Bond, Ross Jenkins Snr, the list goes on. We could do it by poll on here, or just an arbitrary one like I did?

 

I did this as 1800 pixels wide, but it must be 1080, surely?

SLB - like you I noticed that the threads cover the middle and bottom of any picture that is used as a background so your suggestion goes a long way to deal with that - not sure though about how many images you will be able to get down the sides as the whole thing gets stretched to Panoramic proportions.

Max's picture will I think be totally obliterated by the threads but that does not mean that by moving it up and around it would not work

Is anyone clever enough now to try making an image but then covering the proportion of it that gets covered above?

 

Max said he would play with it to get best effect! and hopefully obscure the missing pinkies

I've done that, will upload it to imageshack a bit later.

 

Right, I've changed my picture a bit and overlayed (that a word?) the part which covers the background. Tried to make it as accurate as I can.
