How about the Legends banner at the top of the page on the club website (GT, Gibbs, Coton, Luther, etc.). That would probably be panoramic enough as well.
Steve - whilst it might not be perfect and some might complain I think it is pretty good and much prefer having it there than nothing. If I were to make one change without finding a whole new picture I would have moved the crest to the right hand side so that it obscured the now demolished stand and also was far enough towards the middle to read "Watford" Very pleased though to have it there for now - someone will probably rig a democratic vote later to have players instead but for now all is good thanks
I'm going to be away for a night or two but I'm around for most of the weekend. I still think the best bet is to wait for the 2011/2012 squad pics, They might have one of the whole squad, if not I could make a collage from the players then. As I said though we're going to need a vote on this, I'm way too busy to mock a few up at the mo

My new idea is to have the Badge in the middle and 4 pictures, 2 on either side. Choosing the pics on the sides will be tricky though, something like: memorable scenes, pic of the vic, pic of the squad, and GT/Elton/legends. I'll come up with something... My only problem is my screen at home is tiny and the wrong resolution for new HD models, so will take some tweaking.

oooh catty! actually your suggested modifications are a good idea and have merit!!,However as you suggested lets wait to see what our homegrown IT talent can come up with! I am hoping something better than a stadium in decline!!
Hmmm - not really but call me old fashioned - if you have a vote or poll I prefer not to have one side canvassing for votes - I would prefer to let people make up their minds and vote whichever way they please - I have my own opinions as we all do but regret polls that get hijacked by one opinion. I would rather have a valid view of the majority than one that simply reflected my views

I don't want or need you to apologise once Norway - why apologise for having your own views of the banner - we all do. Actually I don't yet know what I want - I am looking forward to whatever people come up with and then having a poll of all our opinions. What I would then like - but cannot demand is that nobody this time canvasses support for their particular view. I would prefer that we recognise we are all adults and have a free right to voice our our preferences but not to send messages to people hoping to drum up support - if you agree with that then we agree
