As you’ll probably know, one of our posters is friends with Mrs RLB. They walk their dogs together, hers is quite a rare breed in the UK, and she’s gone to games with him. He gets all kinds of info about transfers, injuries, etc but never betrays her confidence … … he only ever tells me after the event which is really frustrating. He did let something slip though, because he mistakenly thought I already knew from what I’d said. A trusted long term poster, on another forum, had told me something about the club finances concerning Stewart Donald that's 'common knowledge' in his circle apparently. It’s like when you’re trying to finish a Nativity jigsaw and someone's hidden the bits with the manger
It can't be anything material to us now though....surely KLD's thorough due diligence would have uncovered all of Donald's financial antics long since?
It's complicated mate and, to be honest, I've had two contradictory messages this morning about it. I can't quite remember what's confidential and what's not As you'll know there are some who are anti-Donald and a few who are pro-Donald ... ... they put forward different slants on the same information. Can't believe that. Grumpy confirmed a while ago that KLD and JS were the only shareholders....64%,36% iirc. Where Donald would feature is a mystery,particularly when both KLD and JS could spin him out with change from their back pocket.
It's slightly more complicated than that, but absolutely nothing to be concerned about. I know nothing about shares, etc, but was told by someone who you'd believe without question. Sorry I can't give a name but I expect you'll guess easily enough.
Yep,I'm with it mate. Guessing it's more than likely some kind of clause in the buyout deal relating to value from progress made towards the PL and/or squad valuation.
