I've nothing aginst Capello either way. The established England players have repeatedly shown they are wrapped up in their own ego's, over-hyped and not the players they think they are. England will never win anything whilst thet complacent bunch with over-inflated feelings of self importance are still playing. You need players who never think they've made it, players always striving to become better. Too many of the England team think they've made it, only have to turn up, put in a half assed effort and have some divine right to success. Look at someone like Messi, never comes out moaning or making out he'd been hard done by, gives 100% every game and when he won the Ballon D'or felt sheepish as he thought Xavi or Iniesta deserved it more. Lots of the Spanish players have the right attitude and aren't wrapped up in their own ego.

I think he means picking someone like SWP who has been ****e for numerous years over a player like Barton who is in the form of his life, and that is just one example.

Fair do's on that one - Barton could easily do a better job than SWP.

I think Barton is the only player from our squad who could justify a position in the England team - I really don't think Simpson is international class, or will ever be.

So your saying Glen Johnson is better? Personally I'll pick Richards from City.

I'd say that Micah Richards is probably a better RB than Simpson, and maybe Glen Johnson purely through experience (though he's by no means international class). But to pick Kyle Walker, with very little PL experience, over Simpson is nuts. Simpson should be a substitute/cover for one of the two mentioned before.

No what i meant is when England had the lack of RB i thought Simmo was a better choice that Walker. Im not comparing heim to the others due to there experience im just saying picking a lad hos played 2 or 3 Prem games ahead of Simmo whos played most games and looked ok is daft

I'd 110% rather see Newcastle win the EPL instead of England winning the World Cup.

And Barry still making the team line up when he should barely be in the squad!

He was great with Villa but he's been average at City and he gets picked ahead of someone like Barton? ridiculous.

I agree that Barry is looking very average these days - Mancini is destroying the attacking side of his game.
That said, he is more of a holding player so I don't think Barton would be his replacement... Scott Parker?

Club. The problem with country is that generally you can't pick which country you support. Also I would much rather watch other international games than Englands, we play boring football with players who don't seem interested and get ****ing paid for it! It should be a ****ing privilage to play for England, not another pay day!!

Club any day. England at the moment is a joke. Certain players are always picked regardless of form, the football is dull, Capello is a tool and the hypocrisy of leaving Barton out while such fine role models as Rooney, Rio and Gerrard continue to be picked is laughable
