If it was reversed - we were in the Prem doing well, and played a team from League One, wouldn't we expect our development squad to win? Young, fit, hungry players who are probably not far from a first team call up in some cases.
Very true, I'm not sure if he played but they've got a CB for the youth team that cost them 13 mil. Quite a difference to our lads. Unless the OP thinks our owners should be spending similar amounts on our B team?
Fair point. The extremes of emotion baffles me. If you're on top of the world or in the pits of hell depending on our results your poor old brain would feel like it was on a roller coaster all season.
I don't know who it was (was watching the game on me phone at me desk) but they had a giant of a fella at CB, quick and strong too, looked very capable.
Benkovic his name is I think and he did play. I know they didn't all cost that much but it does highlight the difference if you compare that to Flanagan.

I don't know why anyone really gave a **** about tonight, I doubt this was PP's Henry V moment in his pre-match team talk. Judge him on the league imo.
Not that bad from the 40 mins or so I caught. We weren't great, seemed to be a few hopeful long balls that didn't go anywhere, but Leicester looked decent - as usual, the oppositions pace terrified us.
I always want us to win deep down but after last season I'll forgo any cup run to concentrate on the league and get the fook out of it. I hope it helped Parky look at the squad more and help give him a better idea of whats needed.
