I sense this season may be a close shave for Lions. We'll be on edge till the last day.

BUT can I please ask Joe Gallen at least to have a shave before he comes on Lions Player?

It's all about standards at the present - playing to a standard that is Millwall. In case that's been forgotten that's 110% all the time. It's managing to a high standard and demanding the best from everyone and every player demanding the best from each other - and it includes personal appearance. KJ always looks the part. It's important.

So - whatever the thoughts about tonight and its relevance to Lions longer term, I want a Millwall performance - in their faces from the off.

And if there's any doubt about the standard required. Just watch the video and look at what Watford did to Lions last Tuesday. Dyche knows what it is. He's put it into practice cos it was drummed into him by Mark McGhee. (Watch what MM does for Bristol Rovers, now he's back south of the Border).

If not that, every player should read the Calvin 'Family' book. Should be compulsory reading!

I want value for my wedge when I watch them.

I want my Millwall back!

Not happy :headbang:

going by your avatar your like me remember the old times when wearing the wall shirt and playing infront of us fans at the old den meant play hard die hard,,,,we wouldnt accept anything less. oh those times are gone, bring back the Hurlocks of this world and get stuck in,,,,

Thanks Mighty - Weller and Gilchrist and all the rest were great. I've been down the Den (new and old) and been transfixed by the skills and commitment.

I'm proud of our tradition. Very proud.

But I think all football clubs play on fans' nostalgia. Don't want to go down memory lane.

The club has to look to the future.

I still think that JB and KJ can still build us that future.

I actually believe the best is yet to come. There are Hurlock's, Weller's, Possee's, Cahills, Harris's yet to play for us. I also think we have a decent crop of current players who have not yet gelled. But they need to show that commitment - and I certainly didn't see it versus Watford.

What really riled me today was having seen KJ looking totally sick after Saturday (and physically ill) and then JG is all looking all a bit casual - he needs to step up to the plate and take more off KJ.

Let's have a tough battling performance tonight. Show no quarter and take no s**t.

Maybe I should change my avatar :emoticon-0102-bigsm

i have 100% confidence in KJ and JB they are both good for this club and by far the best we have had in many a recent year <ok>

but i just want to see us battle and see players fight for their right to wear our shirt, i have watched Millwall home and away thousands of times and i still leap and shout when we score, But i get very saddened not if we lose (we cant win them all) but if i see them just not turn up or have a cant be bothered attitude. if we get beat, we get beat, but at least go out fighting!!

Rant over <laugh>

Guys ,it`s a case of second season syndrome, we just have to ride this one out without going down!
Now is the time we find out who our leaders on the pitch are.
