Wasn't there some problems last season with him. It wasn't a case of him not being good enough but Paul Lambert didn't like his attitude or something? Remember being something like that. I would deffo take him, prefer a perm deal but I don't like the idea of paying penalties if we don't play him enough. Would also probably look elsewhere. I've been dying for us to get either Rico Henry or Joe Bryan
Was just thinking about Micah Richards there. If he'd drop his PL wage demands, would you take a punt on this local lad?
Used to really rate him, something has gone wrong for him at Villa. He may just need a change of scenery but he must be getting on a bit now surely?
Apparently he's had a bad knee injury at Villa which kept him out a lot. May also be the reason why no-one seems to be enquiring about him. Wasn't he their captain at one point?
Not a rumour as such, more of a suggestion by this mob, given this guy in running down his contract. Anyone know anything about him? http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2017/08/09/should-leeds-united-make-a-move-for-brentford-ace-harlee-dean/
A disappointment for some of our posters? ... http://the72.co.uk/89587/former-leeds-united-ace-returns-france/
WJ it's looking like this is a done deal - do you think that we will shut up shop then and wait to see if we need anything in January or will there be a "big name" - I don't think we need to do any last minute shopping?
Interesting he is listed on Wiki as a Winger/Striker and looking at his lack of goals and height, you'd imagine winger competition is where the club see's him.
Pawel Cibiki has signed on a 4 year contract but I still think we are going to get a marquee signing before Friday my monies on Nelson Olivera in a swap plus cash deal for Dallas or Hughill from Preston forget Gestede Monk won't do business with us!
Have we actually had any solid links to Olivera or is that just someone you want? I wouldn't let go of Dallas either way, he's got a role to play here.
Danny Ings on loan for 12 months is the no brainer for me, here while Ekuban and Roy-Grot get used to life in English football and review where we are at in December. When I say no brainer, I'm comparing that to realistic targets and the ones who have so far been linked
Not keen on having a PL team's player who's had a long injury layoff He'd take a few weeks to get up to speed anyway, and all we'd be doing would be increasing the value of a Liverpool player Plus he'd be filling the heads of our better players of how great the PL is etc etc Rather stick with who we've already got
I see your point Forza but Bartley is a prime example of how it can work. I'm happy to stick with what we have but the noise is we should expect more. I'd imagine the players don't need any words in their ears from PL players when they have agents bending them and remember, Wood, Green, Bartley, Ayling, Bridcutt had already been part of a PL set up and it didn't have a negative impact.
