Isn't the clock really for show, rather than some big, accurate timepiece. After all, the scoreboards show the time, and everyone can see those.
As everyone's saying, the white (silver?) on white makes it hard to read if you have imperfect eyesight
I have imperfect eyesight, so I'm going to be cheesed off. Let's be clear... we are NOT talking about the clock under the directors box, but the problem is with the flaming great screens at either end of the ground, yes..?
I don't think the directors box clock was even there, but yeah I doubt people would be upset about that The little white-on-black clocks on the big screens have been replaced as part of the new Eterna deal.
Oh dear. I can see how this is going to inflame the supporters while we beat the living **** out of fellow Champions League teams. Of course, we could all buy Eterna watches and stare at them, not having a clue what time they're showing us. My GUL surfers watch has luminous dials [whoopee..!]
Yes the sound system was awful. I couldn't hear a word that was being said. It didn't help that at half time there were 2 messages being announced at the same time. Don't think it's that I'm going blind and deaf that I couldn't see the time on the screen or hear any of the announcements!
