Nail on head.......a considered piece actually putting questions/thoughts to sky expressing the views of the fans who attend games rather than just a rant......
From their point of view. it's neither arbitrary nor ill-conceived. The economics of it seem to make little sense to us but then when you have a virtual monopoly and the owners and authorities are prepared to force us all to say jump, they know they can get away with it. If clubs go bust because Sky want to corrupt the whole football pyramid., that in their view will not be their fault. We live in a world where those who have money want to ensure that they get almost all of the money that someone is willing to pay. We may well end up in a few years time with 20 or so mega clubs where all their teams - first second third and fourth play in the League. The small independents will have been squeezed out. They don't give a toss that West London has 5 football league teams, each with their own history and culture. If Sky could they would have us all play as Chelsea at one stadium with the pitch being relaid every two weeks at Sky's expense. Football 5 days a week from Stamford Bridge and everybody paying per game to watch. Can't disagree with anything Clive has said there, a very succinct and well thought-out piece. I'd like to think Sky would respond to it in both a reply and taking some note of the valid points raised but I fear it will make not one iota of difference to their arbitrary and ill-conceived scheduling...
Good idea. Maybe somebody attending the fans forum can put that to the club?Wdnt hurt the club to reduce prices for sky games especially night games n get more people in the ground ain't rocket science!
Penalises ST holders.Good idea. Maybe somebody attending the fans forum can put that to the club?
Makes it better on the tele too.£15 adults £5 kids any sky game more people inside better atmosphere might help the players too!
Oh well, Clive will get a Saturday afternoon game in January now following FA Cup draw, can't see Blackburn's visit being on the box...
Penalises ST holders.
At the very least they should pay VAT on them. All male sanitary towel holders should be penalised. It's a sin against god
Why does it penalise them? ST Holders can maybe get a rebate in their ST the following season or the club can add the money to their QPR cash money. If we have 6 live games on the tele and the difference in price for non-ST holders is £5 per game for games being shown live, ST holders get their ST's the following season for £30 less. 6 x £5.Penalises ST holders.

Assumes that themugsseason ticket holders renew. I don't think it's compulsory yet. Why should ST holders have a complicated and conditional rebate. Is the QPR cash money real money or club shop tat money?
I'm sure there are ways to do this though. Send them a cheque or credit the card they used to buy the ST for example.
