Hopefully Rob Couhig gives Ainsworth a hefty kick up the arse after this sh*t show. Every fan can see we need a decent keeper and 2 central defenders even if one is back up for injuries and suspensions or we can expect mid table at best.

Devils advocate but I’m not too bothered about this. If as he said he tried a different tactic and it didn’t work then fair enough, you have to try somewhere. Wing hitting the post to make it 1-1 might have changed the whole game. Currently we have a mid table team but a management and player attitude of playoffs. 2 more signings and it becomes playoffs with a chance of autos.

Ok just seen the highlights. Wow we were bad. Open spaces everywhere shocking.

 

Lets go through the game Vokes again should have scored couldn't sort his feet out from 3 yards out, Bayo at 40 would have put it away comfortably. Wing about the only thing he did in the hour he was on was hit the post. I would say we matched them in the first half the difference they took their chances we didn't, the other very noticeable thing Bolton defence covered their young goalkeeper ours I am afraid to say hung Dickinson out to dry. Also you can not go to a place like that with two recognized defenders & a young keeper in only his second game, As you say I don't think he made a save in the first half a couple of good stops in the second. The second half was a non event for us I don't think we made a chance & Bolton were happy to trundle along knowing the defence were going to give them an easy chance which we did. Also the 3-0 last week does not look so good after Burton lost 4-0 at home after having somebody sent off in the first minute

 

I would say the match report having now read it is a fair report on the game
