I think he should. Stopped the rot against Palace. Always gives 100% and although his pace is questionable he usually makes up for that in positioning and communicating with others.

People are obsessed with age. And while he is no spring chicken, he has prolonged his career by training and recovering well. Loved the fact that Kelvin Davis came on for Soton yesterday......Nearly 40 years old and was quality!!

Flying the flag for us middle - agers! !!

I'm of the thinking that if someone can do the job, play them. I don't care about their age and only replace them if you can find someone genuinely better, not because the replacement is younger.

Hill should have been starting all along because of his quality, form and dedication over the years. Why should Rio come in and take his place? Who the **** is Rio?

No problem with Hill at CB but wouldn't rate his chances against Lennon at LB.

Also, would do the captain's job well should Mr Barton not find his way straight back into the starting line up.
