Is this a fact? or an opinion? Looks like a fact being claimed. There are plenty of other options that could lead to the lack of signings. But do they all lead to one place?
You guys seem pretty certain that Ward is signing for you, i wouldn't be so sure, there are more rumblings that he is set to sign for Ipswich. Personally i don't know either way but i wouldn't count ya chickens just yet!!
Hola, Spanish. Don't think you will find that anyone is "pretty certain" about any potential target. All we know is that we are in for him and have had a bid accepted along with two other clubs, one of which being Ipswich. How did Bowyer do last year? Have his legs gone, or just a hothead, or not good enough?
Which part? Fact that Warnock wants 3-4 players before he departs on the 25th - Failure to get them and it will indicate in my opinion a lack of backing. Yes there could be a number of reasons but with Warnock saying "I want 3-4 players in place before I depart and the Chairman knows this" and Bates stating the other day "Don't expect much before July when contracts expire" it does not sound good.
I know it's good to have a bit of edge on the board, but could we not turn everything into Marko/Elmo vs Whitejock etc. It's basically turning every thread into the same debate.
I agree. When you are trying to provide an opinion, it is really annoying that some people look specifically to pick you up on your grammar or particular choice of word (which may be incorrect, or inflammatory) rather than choose to debate the issue at hand. Even if it ends up returnig to the main issue -Bates!
Clint Hill is not coming to Leeds United, he has verbally agreed to stay for another season with QPR. Sauce: Local media in West London.
Yeah I read something like that this morning. Cant blame the lad and lets face it if Hughes is going to do a rebuild left back wont be his priorty if the fans & players player is holding down that position
Correct. Hill at CB with LB either Taye Taiwo (if his loan from AC Milan is made permanent) or Armand Traore. I have a feeling another decent CB will be signed by QPR and that Hill will find himself on the fringes of the team, his player-of-the-year awards notwithstanding.
