first of all, what a great player! its pleasing to be linked with players of this calibre. unfortunately, lambert was asked in his press conference if he was interested in dempsey and he replied with something along the lines of 'you're joking right? we could never afford his wages'. lambert never expressed an interest in the player, the journalist just made it up and then asked him about the rumour he'd made up! <laugh>

Are you sure you're not being 'well sensitive' about people's replies...? I have had no experience of that happening, perhaps you should get over yourself.....

I think Dempsey likes to be a big fish in a small pond, so he might not get on at a spurs or arsenal
So he could end up at a Newcastle or everton IMO
