My reading of the situation is that this really is an interim appointment, unless we see a sudden turnaround in form. All the staff are within the club, so when a new coach is found they can go back to what they are doing at no additional cost. Most of the decisions that are being made I think are with finances in mind, and if there was any belief left about how we were playing, the ever-increasing number of empty seats sealed Val's fate.
Might even be a case of lose on Saturday and they look elsewhere. Good luck Tom. Feel he might need it !
Troy had his say too. Guess he knows a bit about management changes. I seen Merson was going down the Johnny Foreigner route there then quickly had to back track when he remembered Ismael had managed here before .
He's spot on about Rajovic - but I'm not too sure that the rest of the players will appreciate his comments - nor Gino.
Guess it’s up to them to prove him wrong . There is the talent in the squad to do better I think . Pozzo probably had it in the neck from a lot of people but would he be that bothered ?
I doubt he would too - he only appears to listen, or even talk, to a few people about his business. I see him as a hard-nosed businessman who likes to run his business his way - and so far has been doing it with some degree of success. Let's face it, when people like Merson - who really knows zilch about the way the club is run - spout opinions based on nothing, why would he listen? I know I wouldn't.
No not when you show such basic lack of understanding or knowledge. If anything I find a lot of our fans have agreed with recent changes of management. Even the Rob Edwards one is more of case of saying it was a bad move in hindsight. I feel it's other areas of the club and how they have run it that get questioned more - and it certainly won't just be down to Gino
