The fact they've given the caretaker job to Wassell with only academy manager experience makes that seem all the more plausible. Remember when Gazza was caretaker at QPR and Flavio was doing just that, certain players cost a lot of money and the Chairman likes to get his own way...

Brighton rode out their mid-season slump, and have come back stronger and likely Derby would have done the same if they had stuck with Clement for the season - the decision to fire him seems like utter madness.
