It urgently needs an announcement of a couple of new signings to balance it out, I would expect Snodgrass is on the phone now telling his agent to find him another club. When I say new signings I mean ones that make us go wow and not groan or have to turn to Wiki them.

Interesting that the 3 long term crocks aren't mentioned - Kissa, Bromby & Somma! 2nd chance? Or just no chance of selling them?

For his first full season Clayton's been impressive, one of the few plusses to come out of this season. He had some quiet games but that's understandable given his inexperience. Afterall I witnessed Howson go MIA a few times and he was the captain supposedly there to rally the troops when the chips were down.
Very strange decision. Clayton's a young, gifted midfielder who is well on the way to proving himself. No doubt we'll see a 30 something plodder take his place in the squad.

Don't beleive Clayton had a real chance under NW, he seemed to be fire fighting in the midfield all the time, never gave him much chance to show what he can do when he's on the ball. Quality player when he's allowed to play instead of over doing it defensively.

    Very disappointed. :(

Kisnorbo - no chance of selling him, one of the few leaders in the dressing room, still need CB backup, not totally useless.
Bromby - no chance of selling him, plain and simple.
Somma - good player who I expect to be pushing for a place next season.

Maybe this is the sign of things to come, maybe we're not bothering with a midfield! Cue a 6'5" forward for Rossco to feed off his headers!

    HOOF BALL, WHOO! WHOO!

Once the dust settles, Clayts may well sign the contract (if he has been given one)

Seems Clayts worth to Leeds is less than he thoght it was. In short according to Yorkshire radio, there is a mismatch between Clayts wage demands & Leeds' offer. A fact of life. Let's hope we don't come to regret that.

Clayton isn't after the number 8 shirt because "browny" is getting offered a new contract.

Elmo, Clayton has already said in an interview he's eager to sign a contract.

and no chance Clayton is on £15k a week (although I'm not sure what you're talking about the "£15k a week wonder" unless that's his contract demands), we bought him from Man City's youth set up, I sincerely doubt he's on more than £2-3k a week.

Would this be an appropriate time to start a Zigic rumour?
