.. but that isn't the point ... despite the differences in occupation the basic principles of being an employee do apply .. expected codes of behaviour set in place by the employer ... you are not forced to sign the contract

- you are expected to abide by it having done so ..

.. and don't give me 'the pressure' as an excuse ... these guys are paid an absolute fortune - consider this .. if you or I get sacked for misconduct it could mean losing your house and pretty much everything else ... would be difficult to get another job in the same industry with that on an employment record ... contrast that with the football industry - a bubble where failure can quite often be rewarded with a future lucrative contract

there really is no excuse for some of the rudeness and arrogance that permeates football ...
