Clasie and Romeu

    Yes Romeu made a gut busting run on 94 minutes, but he also was knackered around 70-75 minutes. He had 'blown' too. It is possible for a player to summon up some oxygen and make a run like he did, but he was knackered for about 20 minutes before that.

    Romeu and Claise and both run their socks off closing down Chelsea's possession game. Great games both of them, yet either them or Davis looked like they needed fresh legs brought in as a replacement towards the end.

    Agreed, we were calling for JWP much earlier than Ron brought him on. I wondered if he was worried that it would take a CM a while to get into the game. But the change should have happened sooner IMO

    If Claise had been replaced at around 70mins he would be a shoe in to start tomorrow, as it is he will probe be on the bench. He was also on a yellow for god only knows what for, its easier to make a silly challenge when your tired and get that second yellow. We have the squad, the midfielders should be told to bust a nut for 70mins then changes will be made. Also with Target, he tends to drop deeper towards the last 25mins of the game, if he is tired he should be replaced.
