So you would get rid of Ayling, Harrison and Philips? Bielsa isn't going to change because what he's doing obviously works so would you want to replace him too? I've said before that I don't get why you dislike Philips but if you think we would be better off without them who would you bring in?
When their form drops a bit Bielsa keeps faith. I agree injuries could be an issue but how many times have people complained about Ayling, Klich, Harrison and Bamford with his 8 match goal drought? Bielsa rarely if ever drops a player, he shuffles the same players before bringing in a replacement. I’m not disagreeing that I’d like to see new faces but it’s just not the way Bielsa operates.
No surprises there Clarke hasn't shown his early promise prior to the Boro' game last season. We are obviously lining up a similar alternative for Bamford if he becomes unavailable for selection or needs resting. Nketiah surely wouldn't played for us v his parent club in the cup match in January. Even Radz isn't mad enough to go into the second half of the season with just one striker
Bielsa May do things a little different this season though having seen the drop off in form during the second part of last season
Disliking Phillips, and not believing he's our footballing messiah, like some, are 2 different things. I'm not going to change my stance on Phillips untill Phillips changes it for me, not you or anyone else. With respects, stop trying to paint me into a corner. What were your comments on the poster who give Phillips a 5 for his performance last game. Don't you find it interesting that people on here can, and do criticise players, but when it comes to someone criticising Phillips it seems to be sacrilege. You forgot Bamford. All I have to do is mention Phillips name once in a sentence and people like yourself jump all over it. Many many fans, including on here were calling for Kiko to be shipped out towards, and at end of last season, not me. Kiko has now proved them wrong, like I knew he would. What Bielsa does obviously worked last season too, until we slipped back into playoff positions and lost at the final hurdle. Like I mentioned, Bielsa is the biggest problem we face if he can't, or doesn't know how to get a team over the final hurdle. Like you said, Bielsa ain't going to change cos we're sitting in second position, it means Bielsa is a one trick pony. I like Bielsa, I like how he's improved the team footballing wise, but he still needs to get us over the final hurdle, which he has never done with any other team. Bielsa says it himself, where we are during season isn't important cos it's a long season, and the finish line is a long way off yet. Like everyone else on here, and every Leeds fan around world, I hope Bielsa gets us promoted, I'm no different in that respect, but he's also got to learn when to change, and how to change. When do you think Phillips calming effect is going to kick in.
Thing is even if Brentford sell Watkins for £25 million they will spend probably £15 million on new players, and have a knack of buying well.
Are you Clive in disguise? Jesus wept! So much bull, and even more inaccuracy. I may be wrong, but Bielsa has indeed produced end product, given the quick skim I gave his career on Wiki. You might like to consult documentary evidence before making wildly inaccurate statements. Again. And again. And Again...... Equally, I believe he has only been fired once. Perhaps you could present the list you allude to? Absolutely doubt it, myself, unless you consider 1 to be a list. Which you probably do, given your poor grip on reality. And if you are right, and 'most' teams are playing similar football to Bielsaball, does this not tell you something? Perhaps you've heard of the phrase 'imitation is the sincerest form of flattery'? Clearly not, either that or you choose to ignore it. Btw, it's impossible to play Bielsaball & pack your defence at the same time - it's an entirely contradictory construct. Once again proving you know absolutely fcuk all about football. I am wholly convinced that if we won the Champions League final 10-0, you'd still complain about team selection & tactics, maintaining we'd have won 100-0 if we'd followed your 'guidance'. Still haven't worked out if you need meds or are over-using them.

The observation about Philips was just that, I don't understand why you dislike him, that was all. The question was who would you replace Ayling, Harrison and Philips with? With injuries our limited options are even more limited. I just want to see players giving their all and I think those three do, as do all the others. I think we could benefit from a taller CB but Bielsa has other requirements so I trust him. We'd all like to see a striker with an eye for goal but, just as what happened with Wood, and seeing the interest in Watkins, that type of player is difficult to find. My answer to my own question is that we don't really have anyone better unfortunately. Bielsa is trying to bang a nail in but he doesn't have a hammer, so he's using what he can
What some fans need to get some perspective, I see it all over the place, forums and social media is stop predicting ridiculous score lines before the games. Constantly predicting we’ll hammer teams three nil or three one. Having built up their hopes then comes the despair when we don’t win. We’re one of the best in the division but not that much better than a lot. Expecting big wins isn’t reasonable. Majority of our wins will likely be by one goal and that’ll do fine if we can get enough of them
Thing is Eire, I for one deliberately predict 2 goal wins even when I fear a loss or draw to be more likely, I just feel comfortable with my tongue in my cheek and I’m sure many others are the same. It’s a bit of a tribal defiance in the face of the enemy hoards thing, works for me.
