The football family will surely be hoping for a positive outcome. A good role model for all.

If that's the case, I know his head must have been ****ed up, but surely he could have thought of another way rather than involve somebody else? The lorry driver will have to live with that vision for the rest of his life. Saying that, I know depression is a terrible illness. I hope he gets sorted soon.

I think when people get into such a dark place then rational thinking goes out of the window..

Exactly, and nobody else knows what goes through the human brain of an individual as we are all different people and see life through a different view point.

Horrible bloody illness. I remember the Robert Enke suicide a few years ago. Without knowing all of the facts, this sounds very similar.

He did that documentary on suicide a few years about suicide on the back of gary speeds death, I remember when he met up with gary speeds family to talk about it, really sad to watch and he handled it so well

If this does turn out to be a suicide attempt, I really hope he gets the help and support that he needs.

Agreed, it's an illness. Seen with people like Gary Speed that it can come when you least expect it.

That's the problem with society though - A lot of people don't view it as an illness. It's seen as something you can simply 'snap out of'. That alone makes sufferers think twice about seeking help.
