We played them at the Brttania and Higginbottom, as replays showed clearly, took Lucas out when through on goal for a stonewall penalty. realising what he'd done he immeadiately rounded on the prostate Lucas berating him for his 'dive'. There was absolutely NO way that Higginbottom would not have known he'd fouled Lucas. The idiot referee promptly booked Lucas (and remember, unlike sendings-off, there is no appeal against bookings) and then Higgginbottom grinned as he walked towards his teammates. Surprisingly, Pulis was silent over this instance of playacting...

Clarke Carlisle is only defending Young because he's a former team mate and because he hadn't even seen the incident against Aston Villa. Its not about if United are ****e, its about diving and more accurately whether ashley young dived. The other discussion is in regards to the FA cup final and the date/kick off time issue. Sometimes my replies are erm......a little blunt to put it nicely. Some posters on here are ******s, not just this board but all over. People like Yurilli and Englands finest amongst others. Certain posters require certain ways of putting it to them. Other times I can discuss like this, as the debate isnt petty mud slinging. I said when a United fan gets something right as in at any time, not that I was right or wrong here. Take Swarbs for example, he often makes posts that offer a good argument and are often right. Hmmm, hard as players at smaller clubs dont get spoken about as much as a player at a top club. That guy at Blackburn, forluka is it. He didnt need his legs much this season as he was always flat out on the ground. Other players will be listed on reputation but havent dived in a while.
I dont get this one bit. Carroll dived, no doubt, but he was caught on the day, didnt win a penalty and punished for it with a Yellow card. Young dived twice, got away with both, won a penalty on both occasions and everyone (even most Man U fans) also accept Young dived. Yet Carlisle still comes out with this ****? Deluded or what?
