I said already, Lawell has done the right thing.

A statement from him saying "No to Newco" early on to appease us (and I wanted him to say that early on) would've been counter-productive.

I believe ST quoted Napoleon on this the other week.

"Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake"

If I was chairman, I would've said it early on but that would've been a mistake - countless column inches would be dedicated by Jabba and Jackson to how we were trying to bully the other clubs/pandering to the support etc etc

Celtic have said hee haw and it was the best policy.

We were damned if we did and damned if we didnae <ok>

I agree.

Look at the mistakes made by us by rushing at the mooth during this debacle. Sometimes you have to rally the troops, sometimes it's better to hawd yer weesht until the dust settles. Celtic got it right there in my opinion.

Why bring our club into the spotlight when it wasn't even necessary though? At least this way if we get the raw end of any deal we can play the victim card - and unlike Rangers who brought all their troubles on themselves we can pull it off <ok>

We don't really lose either way, MD.

We just get ER and the odd Morton fan Wummin' it up about it.

I wanted Lawell to state he was against it early doors - I was wrong, that would've been the wrong thing to do.

you asked wht was the difference between when lawell has been vocal about issues in the past and not about this one - i answered you

you didnt ask anything about what difference our actual vote would make - or prove me wrong
