Jeers for the referee as he played on until a hapless City defender sliced a clearance off the post onto Marshall's head, and into the net.:steam:

This after the referee sent off Noone for swearing at him in scouse, allowing Loovens to remain on the pitch after catching a City shot on the line, City had missed 2 penalties, had 3 goals incorrectly chalked off and Wednesday's first was a mile offside.
