It's just a balance adjustment overall... my anger in the psg match was about effort. I've accepted that until the 2 new guys get up to pl fitness we are playing ..."don't concede and the front 3 will get at least one..." sometimes it won't happen Honestly believe once we have a midfield that can switch and move like our front 3 we will be back to a total team press again...or a version of it... Also think some of the back passing is to entice a bus parking team out.... it's just a lack of quick passing that lets it down... it takes bravery to hold on to the ball for what seems like too long to play the quick back pass and turn and move up the pitch when oppo player has engaged. That ain't ever going to be Hendo and he makes Widji nervous and knackers Milner who feels obliged to race around doing all the work.. Seriously... if Hendo worked in an office he'd be the guy who walks quickly around and in and out of the office all day with the same bit of paper.
