True. However, I comfort myself with the belief that, if we cannot pick ourselves up after a performance like that against a side like Sunderland, then we don't deserve anything from this season. That said, I do expect there to be a backlash, and I suspect the Sunderland boys will be wishing that we'd won, tonight. I do not believe that we will be complacent at the weekend.

Exactly! This is why I've been chosen to start the Tottenham disaster season thread. It already sounds that you're coming to terms with the inevitable but here lies the problem. Spurs will in all probability get something from The Sunderland game sparking off dellusional behaviour among the fans.

This 'roller coaster syndrome' causes it's victims into making rash predictions leaving them open to ridicule in public life. In extreme cases it can lead to dellusional wumming as displayed by some on this forum with tragic circumstances leading them open to ridicule, ripping and a complete loss of credibility.

We don't have a CL prediction thread on this board, lads! It would be a shame for fans of all the non participating teams not be permitted to join in the fun ('Pool, Chelsea and United, etc), so this one's for you.

Here are my predictions:-

PSG 4 v 0 Arsenal
Barcelona 7 v 0 Celtic
City 3 v Borussia 2
Spurs 3 v 1 Monaco
Club Brugge 5 v 0 Leicester City
Damn...looks like the prediction you made has comeback to bite you on your arse!
