The negativity before the game starts on ITTV is excruciating. Why do these people say they support Charlton. A few on there hoping we lose because it fits their agenda.
Everything that Bowyer does is wrong. He has got really boring. Didn't he post something a while ago to say that he was going to change and not be so negative. That went well.
Certain members of ITTV repeatedly complaining about not606 is actually how I found out about this website. It seems to me to be an echo chamber of negative opinions
Happy Clappers Canterbury, Bexley, Ridiculous, SquareBall, Jeddez. This is just over there of them being Dear oh dear.
He’s deleted the thread showing concern for the drink driver that’s injured himself- maybe the penny finally dropped ?
He sees ITTV not just as an alternative forum that Charlton fans might choose to join, but the only Charlton fans' forum worth joining. Other forums are inferior and apparently some kind of threat. Anybody who also likes to be part of other communities of Charlton supporters is being disloyal to ITTV, and is therefore fair game to be ridiculed for that disloyalty every time they express an opinion he finds irksome. It's a convenient method of deflecting folks from the point of the disagreement. At the end of the day though we are all Charlton Athletic fans, which comes before being fans of the forums we post on. I've never seen the reason for different Charlton forums to regard each other as serious rivals or even enemies. Of course, a bit of light-hearted banter is fun. A bit of leg-pulling and winding up between forums never hurt anyone. ITTV is a great forum. I've said it before and I'll always say it. Years of hard work by its creator has made it into a unique community with a strong sense of identity. Something to be proud of, and enjoy being part of. But I think there is a difference between having a strong identity, and a siege mentality. I don't think any of us here wish harm on that forum. We just like to be part of this little community - either instead, or as well.
