Both me and the dog are fine... we were out playing with his mates earlier... there's a bit of a chill in the air winter's coming.
Indeed it does, Vol. Birds require fresh water all year round. And I urge all you guys to stock up on some high energy bird food such as suet pellets and fat balls. Pound shops and discount stores usually stock decent gear. Cheers.
Ponders will be enjoying the song of the robin these days. Blackbirds are quiet while they are growing their winter plumage, because they can't fly so well, making them more vulnerable.
There's a robin fledgling at my Allotment. I've tried feeding him mealworms, but he only eats things that move.
Funnily enough, I'm looking to adopt a baby hedgehog (hoglet). My local trust is looking for carers, and I reckon I could do a decent job in rearing a hoglet. I'll post updates and pictures as matters progress.
Thanks, pal. It's been too long, I know, but I'll try to get a bit more involved. I think Lennie is at Newport...
That website does a large range of hedgehog food..... I have a hedgehog in the garden, a bit of a prickly fella so I call him Lyle
Ha! Nice one. I really want a hedgehog in my garden. I've got a few mice, but I haven't named them yet.
Too true. I often leave them a sprinkling of crushed peanuts. The wife berates me for encouraging them, but I just carry on regardless. All wildlife deserves a good feed up.
