Caps off a orrible season for Arry, and not even the England post, but on the bright side, at least he was found "not guilty" in his court case.
The amount of congratulatory threads over on the Chelsea board is astounding. Didn't think there were that many fans on NOT606! I was a bit disappointed to see the only Ranger to post is Houston. No local lads at all?
No f-ing way..... Congrats District Loine.. As for the team, a team that got thier manager sacked because they kept losing, .cheated Barca out of a place and didnt even manage to qualify for the chumps league until tonight. A team that cant even be or get anywhere near the champs of England....Are a disgrace They have now won the chumps leaguea as many time as Steau Bucharest,,,!!
We did this. They didn't do this. Them's the rules. Spurs knew it going into the run-in. They weren't a disgrace. They won. Barca, Bayern, park the bus, whatever. They won. Do I like it? No. They won. Well done to them. Let's move on and look to our own future.
People enjoy proverbially sucking others off. A few people replying 'cheers' and they'll be ecstatic. The amount of people on my facebook that didn't like football ten years ago with 'Champions' statuses said it all for me. Horrible club that used to be followed by bigoted racists and is now followed by flag-waving middle-class rugby fans. ****s.
Watford, you willpleased toknow that I concur with every word of that. For exactly the same reasons I didn't want Man City to win the title. The two cheque book clubs triumph. All we need now is for Murdoch and his ginger witch to get acquitted and this country has been fully sold out to the filthy lucre.
That's kinda my point, Skins. Brentford despise the Rs 'cos they have an inferiority complex. But to most Rs, the Bees are nothing more than an inconsequence. I don't suppose many Chelsea fans put much thought into Fulham, let alone lil' ol' QPR. Mind you, I don't suppose many Chelsea fans put much thought into anything.
I think the way they've gone on this season shows they care a lot more about us than they'd admit. Not the post-Abramovich brigade but those who were there before don't like us I assure you. Brentford genuinely loathe everything about us- there was a hilarious thread on their messageboard which was posted on loftforwords; it started with the Chelsea home game and continued throughout the season culminating in a running account of events of the last day of the season. It's actually a good read if you can be arsed to find it.
You may be right, Watford. But whilst the bread-and-butter, long-standing Chelsea fan will undoubtedly still have the local rivalry coursing through his dark veins, I'd suggest most of the modern prawn sandwich lot are as I've described. They've only given the Rs attention this season because of the controversy of the game at Loftus Road; not only the defeat and sendings off, but of course the Terry/Ferdinand affair. And we've naturally given it large about that too. I sincerely hope the Rs remain a thorn in their arse for a long time to come.
Why? So we can congratulate Ginger Marks on his fantastic performance in Munich? I doubt they even want our congratulations, the small number of old school fans they have prefer the 'every body hates us' stance. Swords, I know you're on the wind up because you know full well how most Rs posters feel about Chelsea. Personally I would have preferred Brian to win, it was a disappointing game (and a disappointing tournament) they didn't win it for anybody other than themselves and certainly not for 'England', they won it because the Rusky has spent £1bn on them (and he still wont be happy because they didnt play like Brazil 1970, bye bye Di Matteo) but it's all over now, well done Scum and, as Tel says, let's move on and focus on us.
You really are the worst kind of WUM Swords, we can take sh*t from other club's WUMs as they are ****s anyway but you really don't fool anyone on here with your innocent village-idiot posts such as the one quoted. As I said before stick to Shelbourne, they're just about your level...
I wasn't wumming, it was a genuine question. Why are you so angry Sooper? Its like you're going to explode!
Everything else aside, I thought it was a poor quality final yesterday. Apart from Czeck saves and Drogba's goal there was little quality. I have heard so much about what a great team Bayern were, how the machine football of Germany had been left behind years ago. But a machine was what they were, a very hard working, non stop, fit attacking machine, but with seemingly no ability to stop a second, think, create or do the unexpected whatsoever. Even the clinical finishing I had expected seemd totally lost. Chelsea as against Barca parked the bus, and with a huge amount of luck, Drogba and Check, got away with it again. The brilliance of Barca was sadly missing yesterday!
