I can't remember why, but Ian Portfield was mine even though Denis Tueart was my favourite at that time (my first ever 'hero') I wouldn't give him the time of day now, mind, 'cos he's got now't good to say about the club . . . . that helped him to achieve something rather special that day I'll always have good/happy memories of my first 'hero' but he's not nice now (his brother, who I've known for 13 years would confirm that, too) p.s. Billy Hughes had a rather distinctive running style - he seemed to 'waddle'
I like Pops. He's a Don. He doesn't force his explanation marks down peoples throats every two minutes. To be honest. you rant at people. !!!!! every two minutes. It's needlessly rude and a constant enough to occur in most of your opinions. They're meant to signify extreme emotion. The way it looks, you just stomp about shouting at everybody over nowt seemingly in constant state of over excitement. It's irritating and IMO(actually no, it's not an opinion, it's fact) is harming my forum experience. I loved the footy part of this forum but you're always here doing that. So yes you're murdering **** out this forum for me. A fact of view based on my experience and I'm not speaking for anybody else. You want to comment on others posting negatively well I'm doing it with you. Because when you disagree and out come the explanation marks, I'd say, yep, that's as negative and confrontational as far as disagreements goes. Looks like you've got beef constantly over nowt. As far as I'm concerned using those with disagreement is being argumentative. It's spoiling football threads for me leaving this forum with nothing to offer me. So no, it's not because you're the mod that's on most. Stop to actually think that I find your personality constantly abrasive.
But you have slated us mods (all of us) for not being on enough - used the term "then you're not a mod" to me when I told you I couldn't get on as much - yet Grandpops is "a don" but he's admitted he's on less than I am? Slightly hypocritical there aren;t you? I rant at very few people - in fact, the only person I've had run-ins on the forum with recently has been you - I've had disagreements but that's what I expect on a forum. You say the forum is ****ed - this is a statement about the forum overall - yet now (above) is the first time that you've basically narrowed it down to being ****ed for you. and not generally And all because of me - nothing to do with any of the other posters you've fallen out with (bart for instance). Just me. BTW - where has this aggression towards me been for the last couple of weeks (months maybe?) We've had civilised conversations in posts and by PM regarding the match threads etc. You've been very helpful and I've been very grateful - yet I have a different opinion to Nads (who has responded and stuck up for his opinion) and the forum is ****ed again and it's all my fault? Don`t know. Been busy the last couple of days. Kept popping my head round the door, you know, just to make sure the children are playing nicely. Recovering from my health MOT. Buggers are supposed to check me over not test me to destruction. Sure those nurses are Gestapo trained.

No mate, I still have to look forward to that experience. This is more to do with COPD, lung capacity, oxygen levels and that sort of stuff. Blowing into tubes to take readings, doing things, more blowing (or in my case wheezing ) for more measurements. Actually the levels had gone up by a few percent which was good. (Sorry `83. the answer`s still no ) so as long as I do things at my own pace I`m fine.
