Sam Allardyce now jumps from 33/1 to 3rd favourite @ 6/1......<yikes><yikes>

Incoming air raid.

I've still not forgiven him for leaving the sprinklers on all night on the Reebok Stadium pitch to ensure the postponement of our cup match there over 20 years ago.

Half their squad were unavailable due to injury/suspension.

We were at Sandbach Services before we found out. Had to turn the coach around and go back to Monmouth to get pi$$Ed.

In some ways he’d be a decent appointment - stacks of experience and won’t stand for any nonsense from the Board.

But only from a Red Adair stance and not for the future.

ps Anyone here recall the City v Bolton match in I think 1978 when the away fans under the grandstand had a big banner of stating “We love Big Sam” which immediately caused the Bob Bank to chant “Big Sam is a …ker” every time he touched the ball<laugh>

WoL reporting some sort of fan protest is planned before tomorrow's game. No details yet.

Exactly what is NOT needed.

What do they hope to achieve? Pass around a bucket collection to pay off Tan?

Of course we don't think the local senior management are good enough. Yes, the whole Sala issue is an embarrassment. Yes, the revolving manager's door makes us a laughing stock, like Watford. Possibly the BFS appointment will cause a lot of tittering around the country.

But a protest march, really? Is Choo going back to his takeaway in Porth? Is Dalman going to get on his Vespa back to London? Is Tan going to quake in his exquisitely cut shoes?

Get real.

This club is all about looking after each other and fighting, back to back, in the face of adversity.

FFS get behind the team and encourage them to get us out of this position.

If it is Sam, he knows more about the game than all of us put together will know.

Back him and the team and we have a chance of getting out of this.
