Is it wishful thinking or a I correct in saying that the squad SB has put together, is capable of fielding 2 full sides that could have a very good game in the prem, against any of the other 19 teams? Just something to mull over and debate. UTT

We've got a better squad than we've ever had before, but I'd suggest that last Thursday showed that our second string are a fair way behind our first one.
Agreed. If you pick someone out of the second and put them in the first, they're not necessarily a 'weak link' and can step up without noticing too much of a loss I think, but when you put them together its a fair bit weaker. Nice to have good back-up but lets not get ahead of ourselves, the 'second team' would probably be mid-championship level, at a guess.
Look at Man Utd last night for details. They will still obviously finish in the top half but last night their second 11 were battered by MK Dons.
