Technical ability - Geovanni leadership, hardman, inspiration - Ash cartwheeling, goals from the wing - Stu Green was a good larker and Marney?? yer 'avin a bubble.. Why isn't Gary Brabin on this list??
Green was good but he left the club on two occasions and both times they were unnecessary and nearly ruined his career. Now he's playing in a non league team. For a couple of seasons everything Elliott touched seemed to go in. He was brilliant. Ash was Mr Hull City for his whole career- loyal, loved the fans, played with his heart on his sleeve. Whenever he scored it seemed to be a stunner or really important ie Yeovil, Palace etc. You're right with Marney. He was good in our promotion season and for half of our first year in the prem but nothing else.
I would have happily gone for both Ashbee and Elliot. So I feel quite pissy that I can't vote for both. However I've gone for Ashbee as he is my favourite ever Hull City player and always will be.
