Interesting fact
In the 1967/68 season, City and Boro faced each other 5 times, twice in the League and three times in the Cup.

In the space of 12 days, the two clubs squared up in two different competitions a total of 4 times!

Sat 27th Jan @ Ayresome Park in FA Cup 3rd rnd; (1-1 draw)
Wed 31st Jan @ Boothferry Park in FA Cup 3rd rnd replay; (2-2 draw)
Sat 3rd Feb @ Ayresome Park in Division 2; (Middlesbro won 2-1)
Wed 7th Feb @ Bootham Crescent, York in FA Cup 3rd rnd 2nd replay; (Middlesbro won 1-0)

Ah the days of multiple replays...

Anyone remember any of these games?
 
Remember well the first replay at BP - I think we were 2-0 up but may be wrong. A typical game when Waggy or Chillo scored and the defence went AWOL.

Over 30,000 as I recall. Lsot replay at Botham Crescent but too young to go then - 18000 crammed in like sardines I was told.
