I've heard rumours that Bruce wants to play with a back 3 this season, interesting that some of the reports from last night are suggesting it looked that way at times, could be something to look out for! Certainly with us looking at Faye it could be an option.
Anyone else have a sneaky feeling that we'll keep him? I mean - if he plays well and fits in with the lads - what do we gain by selling him and getting A.N.Other?
I don't think Alex Bruce actually touched the ball, we were attacking pretty much the whole time he was on! Jakupovic looked good with his distribution, looking to get the ball out quickly every time and you could hear him talking a lot. Looked a bit iffy on crosses to me though, especially when someone was jumping with him.
Did anyone else see Ehab arrive last night? Shirt, tie, 2 piece suit, beanie hat and on a quad bike!! Brilliant!
He did look to release the ball quickly, that was fine when he was rolling it out but his kicking was terrible. Communication was generally good apart from him getting caught 30 yards from goal when Chester (I think) intercepted the ball. I thought he was a bit erratic, but I'll put that down to nerves, playing infront of the City fans for the first time!!
Does anyone know if Brucey did an interview with Humberside last night? Not sure how much they'd have covered it. I wouldn't mind having a listen if he did.

Ive been saying for 3 years that we should play 3 - 5 - 2 as how many teams play more than 2 strikers anymore ? With Hobbs out until december it would be good to have say Cooper - Feye - Chester as a back 3 with Rosie and Dudg/Daws as wing backs for example. This style is the way to go imo and i full applaud SB for thinkiing along these lines. Hope he goes with that formation. Some said it was a mate of Rosies but i think he was all Greek. Yes, what a show off. Thankfully he did not park near me.
There's no way he was a footballer. Or an athlete of any description. He couldn't, it would have caused you to break the restraining order!
How reliable are the rumours Premier? SB has only seen the players in one pre-season friendly so far and only a couple of the players played 90 minutes so I would have thought it was a little early to be deciding what the best formation would be.
Its hard to tell with some players these days and what restraining order do you refer too ? Ive not taken one out on Ehab.
I'm not saying that Bruce has never played the formation before, simply that he has only watched 1 game so far so it is difficult for him to know which is the best formation surely??
