Think it was £8 last time It absolutely heaved it down. It will be rammed as usual.

That extra pound's a real killer, we're in a recession you know!

I noticed the sign at winterton last season saying no ball games which was on side of the stand next to the pitch :)

I also caught two people getting busy in the window so I waved to them. They didn't like me waving and shut the curtains. :-(

These friendlies aren't the best of games but it feels like now the season has started. Can't wait to get back watching city every week.

Nice to see a couple of familiar faces in the squad. Didn't know we'd released that Dean Lisles lad we got from York, but he's in the Ferriby squad along with Steve Gardner and Ryan Kendall - who I last saw playing at Bradford.

It sounds like there could be a couple of trialists playing tonight/tomorrow, more than one Greek player according to Phil Buckingham.

I heard a rumour that it's Apostos Velios, with a view to a season long loan from Everton. Apparently been spotted around the training ground this morning. Having said that, my friend also said in the same text that it might just be the guy that cleans out the latrines.

That'd be a good move, looked handy from the bits I've seen on MOTD. It wouldn't make sense for him to come on trial though. He's played first team football for Everton in the prem, 16 apps and 3 goals, so not too sure I can see it happening.

Yeah, but it's not unusual for players to come in on trial even if they have got a good track record, it's just to see if the management like his style of football. Would be handy though, but at the same time would probably spell the end for McLean/Simmo.

OK, OK - but, last season, there was a Twitter feed as to what was happening. Is anyone doing one this year?

I'm going tonight but it's my first visit to Ferriby. Are there plenty of parking places close by and more to the point, as it's forecast to be chucking it down, are we under cover?
