Courage of your convictions???? ****sake Reg........the only thing you're Ultra at is hypocrisy! How many times have you taken the piss out of this forum on CI and here you are infesting it after you were shown the door over there! You couldn't make it up!
Wow, it's like getting like Facebook on here with all these unhappy teens bitching . We lost today. No need for toys out the pram. This is how we roll at this level.
What's the betting that Agro is a proper scrawny, timid little man in real life who wouldn't dare say boo to a goose? He certainly seems that way. Odious little plastic (so called) 'supporter'.
Hi. As a Saints fan I was thinking we needed to make a fast start otherwise you could make it really tough for us. I think you came up against Adam Lallana at the wrong time! That was the best I've seen him play in a hell of a long time and on his day, he can make the best defences look stupid. His goal today was stunning. Anyway, good luck for the rest of the season, I'm sure you'll stay up comfortably - you have some very good players and I really rate Steve Bruce.
With hindsight I regret posting some of the things on this thread. I've been far too patient and accommodating
Today has been awful for me as I traveled a four hour round trip away to play rugby, lost 38-0, took a blow to the head and got concussion, and to top it all off saw city lose convincingly. However, I am still a hell of a lot more positive than some of you pillocks. We were outplayed by a team third in the league, in a manner that we haven't seen seen since the Chelsea game. To put it into perspective that is only two games out of 11 where we have seriously struggled, despite playing some of the most successful and established clubs in the world. People calling Steve Bruce '****' need to remember that he has both got us promoted and playing top football with very little money. We are missing our two best attacking players, how would United cope without Rooney and RVP? Madrid without Ronaldo and Bale? These are the richest clubs in the world with more squad depth than we could ever dream of having. Another point, people saying Davies/Thudd etc. are not at England level from one game are just ridiculous, they seemed to perform brilliantly against Man City/Spurs/Everton so that negates the point that they haven't dealt with high level football. I have seen nothing to suggest that we will even be near the relegation zone, and the Saints fans agree that we play good football despite battering us. This was one game, get over it.
How many have called Steve Bruce ****e, not that many as far as I can see, perhaps I've missed something.
Well done Soton. Christ they look good. Was in pub and we all said it'd be great if they did break into the top 4. Arses well and truly kicked. not heard Brucey but i imagine he may shoulder the blame for being too timid. Bruceys next team talk is already written for Palace. we move on
Shane Long had a great game for WBA today, caused Chelsea no end of problems. Hopefully he is still unsettled come January and we still have a chance.
Clutching at straws as usual, but in 2007/8 we lost 4-0 at Southampton, but it seemed to act as a catalyst for our surge in form and good results ... and we all know where that ended.
